    Educação em situações de cumprimento de pena de privação de liberdade: um estudo sobre a relação entre (re)socialização e a educação em ambientes carcerários

    The theme of this work is the school education in prisons. From reading about the prison context to understand their specificity, based on authors like Sérgio Adorno and Myriam Castro, and lectures on education in prison, sought to understand how the issue of school education in prisons has been studied in theses and dissertations in Brazil. The objective was to survey data on published abstracts on the site of CAPES falling within the educational context in prisons with a focus to (re) socialization of the individual actors of the prison system. Were selected and analyzed a total of 37 abstracts, with respect to years of defense level, advisor, institution, the main theme and results of research. The analysis of the abstracts showed that this topic has been little studied despite its relevance. Also allowed to verify that the studies point to the relevance of school in prison as one of the factors relevant to the promotion of rehabilitation of inmates.
