Some forms of APC have recurrent nature and as major clinical manifestations of weight loss, cough and hemoptysis. The diagnosis of APC includes the presence of clinical symptoms associated with imaging studies with characteristic findings and evidences of fungal infection by the genus Aspergillus through the serological detection or isolation of Aspergillus. 5 forms of APC are recognized: pulmonary nodule by Aspergillus; aspergilloma simple; chronic cavitary pulmonary aspergillosis (APCC); chronic necrotizing pulmonary aspergillosis (APCN) and chronic fibrosing pulmonary aspergillosis (APCF). In view of the high morbidity associated with this condition and the scarcity of studies, this paper proposes to characterize its radiological patterns.
