Casa Ecoativa promotes an educational territory, with socio-environmental engagement in the construction of a plural education that transcends the school walls and guarantees continuous learning and the full development of those involved, with special attention to children, adolescents and young people. The main focus of this research was to analyze the socio-environmental actions developed by Casa Ecoativa in the region, since its creation, focusing, in particular, on activities involving young people. Seeking to understand how the practices of community-based Environmental Education developed by Casa Ecoativa awaken in young people a sense of belonging to their territory and bond with nature. Analyzing the projects developed and in progress, focusing on the participation of young people, it was possible to identify that these actions awaken a sense of belonging and connection with nature. The work carried out by Casa Ecoativa should serve as an example so that other communities feel encouraged to promote activities where young people can be protagonists. The construction of an educational territory based on networking is the main point for the success of so many projects. Therefore, we realize how important it is to promote educational territories in the peripheries. It is in the collective that transformations happen.
