The objective of this work is to relate the period of relaxation of the Brazilian Military Dictatorship with the artistic production in video of the artist Letícia Parente between 1975 and 1982. From the study of audiovisual sources, supported by the investigations of the New History, from the Escola dos Annales, it is evidenced the filming that appear the questions of the body, the artist as work of art, as active subject. We take into account the line of research on the History of Women, which is to understand if the theories of gender studies and social feminist theory fit the problems of the work.

T he music of Chico Buarque is discussed not only as cultural pr oducts of their historical time , but in merit of presenting unique ways to observe, understand and express dilemmas and anxieties delimited in context of the Brazilian Military Dictatorship, exposed not only in the ch ange of a political sensitivity , but also in the em otio nal and loving sensitivity.
