- ItemSomente MetadadadosAmbiente de prática profissional dos enfermeiros que atuam em um hospital de ensino(Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP), 2019-11-28) Yanarico, Dilzabeth Margot Imata [UNIFESP]; Bohomol, Elena [UNIFESP]; Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP)Introduction: The conditions of the nursing work environment may affect positively or negatively professional performance in an organization and this may impact the quality of care provided to the patient. Objective: Analyze the perception of the work environment of nurses working in a teaching hospital. Method: This is a cross-sectional study conducted at a teaching hospital in the state of São Paulo. For a sample calculation, a pilot test was performed with 17 participants with a confidence level of 95% and a sampling error of 0.10 in a population of 479 nurses, resulting in a sample of 178 professionals. The data was collected from September to October 2018, and a questionnaire was used, with sociodemographic and professional data, with 12 questions and the Practice Environment Scale (PES) - Brazilian version, with 31 items distributed in five subscales. Data analysis was performed using R software version 3.6.0 and a statistical significance of 5% (p <0.05) was adopted between subscales and study variables. The internal consistency of the questionnaire was assessed by Cronbach's alpha. Results: Out of 188 nurses who participated in the 36.2% were aged between 40 and 49 years old; 91% were female; 47.9% married and 41.5% without children. Also it should found 35.1% had more than 15 years of profession; 31.9% working less than five years in the institution; 52.7% with experience of less than five years in the unit; 95.7% worked in the healthcare area; 38.3% worked in the morning shift and 39.9% worked 36 hours a week. Cronbach's alpha for the general questionnaire was 0.91 and for the subscales ranged from 0.67 to 0.83. The average score for PES-Brazilian version was 2.58 and participants considered two of the five unfavorable subscales for practice: subscale 1 “Nurse participation in hospital affairs” (2.43) and subscale 4 “Staffing and resource adequacy” (2.23). Statistically significant differences were found between the professional variables length of experience in the institution (p=0.04) and work unit (p=0.02) with subscale 4 “Staffing and resource adequacy”; length of experience in the unit (p=0.03) with subscale 3 “Nurse manager ability, leadership and support of nurses”; the weekly shift with subscale 4 (p=0.004) and 5 “Collegial nurse-physician relations” (p=0.03). Conclusion: In tis institution, the nurses work environment was considered mixed. The results suggest manager’s attention to the nursing staff since sometimes a mixed work environment can result on either favorable or unfavorable conditions for professional practice. There is need for actions that allow to increase the participation and involvement of nurses in the hospital affairs and to improve the adequacy of resources available in order to provide quality health care services.

The Nursing Care In These Patients After Performing This Treatment Is The Maintenance Of The Supine Position For An Average Period Of Four Hours After Removal Of Femoral Artery Sheath. This Care Has The Purpose Of Preventing Vascular Complications, But This Immobility Time May Cause Discomfort (Back Pain, Low Back Pain, Paresthesia And Difficulty In Urination) And Greater Need For Analgesic Drugs, But There Is No Consensus Concerning The Ideal Time Of Immobility In Acs Patients Who Underwent Pci By The Femoral Artery. Objective: To Evaluate The Efficacy Of Reduction In The Immobility Time In Bed From Four To Two Hours After Sheath Removal Of The Femoral Artery In Patients With Acs Undergoing Pci. Method: This Was A Randomized Clinical Trial, Including Patients With Acs Who Underwent Pci Through Femoral Artery, Being Randomized By
- ItemAcesso aberto (Open Access)Livro sobre cuidados com dermatite associada à incontinência em recém-nascido, criança, adulto e idoso(Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP), 2020-11-27) Raposo, Mayara Leticia Matos De Menezes [UNIFESP]; Blanes, Leila [UNIFESP]; Universidade Federal de São PauloIntroduction: Incontinence-Associated Dermatitis (IAD) is an inflammation of the skin caused by its prolonged contact with urine and/or feces. It affects all age groups, especially at the extremes of age. The management of IAD is a major challenge for health professionals. Thus, it is necessary to develop an educational resource containing the most relevant information about management of IAD at all stages of life. Objective: To develop and validate a book on the management of IAD in newborns, children, adults, and older adults. Methods: A descriptive exploratory study. The chapters of the book were defined after a search for studies published since 2009 in the PubMed/Medline, LILACS, BDENF, and EMBASE databases, using the keywords: adult, child, dermatitis, diaper rash, urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence, and aged. The written content and illustrations were then created. Upon completion, the book was validated by experts through the Delphi technique and the Content Validity Index was calculated. Results: After the review of the literature, the book chapters were defined and text content was written and proofread to improve grammar and readability. The illustrations were then included and the book layout was designed. The book was validated by seven experts through two rounds of consultation, achieving a 96% level of agreement among them. Conclusion: The book on the Management of Incontinence-Associated Dermatitis in newborns, children, adults, and older adults was developed and validated.
- ItemAcesso aberto (Open Access)Manual Educativo Sobre Cuidados Com Gastrostomia Em Crianças(Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP), 2018-02-16) Sales, Priscila Nunes Da Cruz [UNIFESP]; Blanes, Leila [UNIFESP]; Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP)Introduction: Gastrostomy is a procedure in which a catheter is inserted into the stomach through an opening in the anterior abdominal wall. In the literature, there is a shortage of studies focused on the implications of using gastrostomy for family members and caregivers. Objective: To develop and to validate an educational manual on gastrostomy care in children, for parents and caregivers. Method: A bibliographic survey was carried out to construct the contents of the manual and to validate it with specialists and parents and / or caregivers of children with gastrostomy. For the validation with specialists, the Delphi technique was used, sending questionnaires to evaluate the content and appearance of the manual. Validation with parents and caregivers of children with gastrostomies was done using a Likert scale with questions in simple language to evaluate the comprehension of content and illustrations. Results: The elaboration of the manual has been validated by experts in two rounds of Delphi technique, the percentage of absolute agreement of all manual value reached 97.91%, with 7 out of 8 questions presented 100% agreement. Validation with target audiences showed a 100% agreement rate, all participants scored 3 on the Likert scale for all questions. The "Manual of Care of the Child with Gastrostomy", has 21 pages, 8 chapters and 38 figures, of simple language content for better understanding of the target audience that is intended to reach, with registration in ISBN for printed paper. Conclusion: Developed and validated the educational manual on gastrostomy care in children, for parents and caregivers.
- ItemSomente MetadadadosNecessidades de saúde de pessoas transgênero, travestis e não-binárias: possibilidades e desafios para a enfermagem(Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP), 2019-03-28) Pereira, Nayla Rodrigues [UNIFESP]; Horta, Ana Lucia De Moraes [UNIFESP]; Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP)Introduction: Despite media evidence regarding the health demands of travesti, transgender and nonbinary people, studies in health research, specifically in nursing, do not address the diversity and specificities of this population. In Brazil, the health care setting for this population was named the Transsexualizing Process and is based on the medical diagnosis of transsexuality. Concerning at health care needs from a collective perspective, not much was known from a depathologizing framework. Even less have described in the literature on the role of nursing during patient assessment and care delivery. The main objective of this study is to identify the health needs of people who experience the process of gender affirmation. Method: This is a qualitative, descriptive and exploratory study, divided into three phases. For the selection of participants, the concept of purposeful sampling was used, with emphasis on variation, seeking the highest diversity possible for the group selected. Data collection was performed using the semi-structured interview. All interviews were transcribed and the data analysis was performed with the MAXQDA software tool. The systematization of the empirical material used the concept of the theoretical framework of the thematic analysis. Results: Twenty people participated in the study, being 11 trans men, three trans women, a travesti, a transfeminine, a man, a woman, a non-binary trans man and a crossdresser. During the analysis process, the categories emerged were: Health Needs of trans, transvesti and non-binary people (which included the topics: need for good living conditions, need for access to health technologies and PAG, need for bonding with health professionals and the need for self-care and body autonomy for the trans person) and the health conceptualization. The nursing practice were highlighted in the empirical material, as its performance humanizes care, promote user embracement and cares for the body in transition along the nursing consultations. Discussion: Health needs are diverse and addressed various spheres of social life. The issues of good living conditions were highlighted by the vulnerability of the population. In general, these demands have not been satisfied by health services and the research results have confirmed evidence found in previous studies such as barriers to access to health, unpreparedness of professionals to care for a trans person, and difficulties in legal recognition of their name. Discrimination and violence marked the results, mainly for denied access to health care and fulfilling the population needs. There is still a lack of evidence about of the practices performed by nursing during the process of gender affirmation. Conclusion: The health needs of travesti, transgender and non-binary people are diverse, correlated to other social markers. Nursing appears as a co-participant in the process of recognition and satisfaction of these needs, requiring further studies in the area from a collective health perspective.
