- ItemSomente MetadadadosDiversidade sexual na escola: sobre seus silêncios e preconceitos(Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP), 2020-02-20) Ferreira, Rita Gisela Guedes [UNIFESP]; Borba, Patrícia Leme de Oliveira [UNIFESP]; Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP)The work analyzes the theme of sexual diversity in schools in the municipality of Santos, located in the State of São Paulo, in particular the measures undertaken by education professionals, technical staff and managers, for this purpose. The objectives are to understand whether or not there are measures by these actors to implement the theme of sexual diversity in schools. To achieve the objectives, the survey raised official documents dealing with the theme and, mainly, was based on 10 interviews with educational advisors and managers of five elementary schools located in the Northwest Zone of the city of Santos. The interviews were transcribed and later analyzed, intertwining the researcher's subjectivity with the theoretical framework of the study, creating three thematic axes: a) We all have to speak !, b) Who should speak? and c) Strategies to speak. The first axis, in view of the unanimity of focusing on sexual diversity in schools, highlights the need and relevance of this action; the second axis, on the other hand, turned to the observation about the analysis of the professionals with regard to whom they attribute the movement / the responsibility of putting the theme on the agenda, once they recognized the little domain and their conceptual insecurities and thus delegating ́other ́s, in particular, health professionals, primarily doctors and psychologists, the professionals who are responsible for conducting the topic. Finally, the third axis was oriented towards identifying perceiving the methods and techniques proposed by the interviewees to implement the subject in schools, replacing the intention, the possibility, since there was no description about something that has already happened in the schools. Finally, with the results of the research, it was intended to provide subsidies for strengthening the dialogue on sexual diversity in the school context.

Method: A cross-sectional study conducted during a Journey of Agroecology carried out in the State of Parana with young people (15 to 29 years) of both genders. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires. Data analysis compared variables regarding gender norms with sociodemographic variables, and a Prevalence Ratio (PR) was calculated with a confidence interval (CI) set at 95% in order to determine this relationship. Results: The study sample was comprised of 147 young people. A higher prevalence was found in accordance with gender norms (PR with CI at 95%) among women compared to men, and that sociodemographic characteristics (lower education level, those living in occupation camps, who do not have white skin and with religious belief) were social indicators for such positioning among both genders. Conclusion: The by product of a patriarchal gender system has led more young girls to internalization and a reaffirmation of gender norms, highlighting an important field for social nursing practices in order to contribute to the transformation of this reality.

Trajetórias de cuidado e o desafio do direito à saúde de pessoas travestis e transexuais.(Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP), 2019-09-09) Antognetti, Marcia Regiane Borges [UNIFESP]; Surjus, Luciana Togni de Lima e Silva [UNIFESP]; Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP)This research aimed to understand the main difficulties and advances to ensure access to health in the context of Public Health Policy, from the perspective of transvestites and transsexuals that use the Health Clinic for transvestites and transsexuals of the Guilherme Álvaro Hospital, in the city of Santos - SP. We mapped the demand for the transsexualization process, as well as the socioeconomic and cultural conditions of this population. The issue of prejudgment, discrimination and violence suffered by transsexuals in their daily lives was addressed, especially with regard to assistance and shelter in the health service. These are people who express themselves in the world according to the gender which they identify themselves, regardless of the biological sex they were born with, making them targets of violence of all kinds and vexatious situations, because they are in disagreement with the cisheteronormative standards that govern our society. Initially, a systematic literature review was conducted as a methodological effort in order to identify the themes that have been explored in the tradition of health itself. We determined for a qualitative research, under the reference of critical and narrative hermeneutics, through the reconstruction of care trajectories. In this study, we detected that from the point of view of transsexuals’ people, the existence of the specific outpatient clinic sounds like an important social gain, coming from the movements between the interested population and the Sexual Diversity Commission of Santos. For being exclusively linked to SUS, even not have their own funds to pay for doctor’s visits, exams and treatments, it is possible to remain in the service, making it an important protagonist in terms of guaranteeing health as a right for all. We identified as the main advances in access to health, the assistance provided by professionals who work directly in the specific outpatient clinic, providing the acquisition of reports for the rectification of the first name and sex judicial process, acquisition of hormones and performance of surgeries, except for sexual reassignment. We attested that transsexuals’ people see transphobia, prejudgment, discrimination, violence and the nonuse of the social name as important factors that prevent them from accessing health, or even associating to it. They are treated with indifference and are often not even listened. They feel as if they were guinea pigs, due to lack of technical ignorance and practical knowledge of the professionals when they are approach with this theme. Interviewees emphasize that, the biggest barrier is the (de)user embracement and (de)assistance. We verified that the guarantee of the right to health depends on the relationships between health professionals and transsexuals’ people, through the recognition of this population and its singularities, as well as the implementation and strengthening of the LGBT public health policy. We have the challenge to ensure the rights to health of this population, injecting ways to raise awareness and qualify professionals, overcoming the barriers mentioned in this study, investing in a humanized user embracement, free of discrimination, prejudgment and violence, in order to flow the happiness projects of each person assisted.
- ItemAcesso aberto (Open Access)Professor homem na educação infantil: a construção de uma identidade(Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP), 2012-09-03) Pereira, Maria Artete Bastos [UNIFESP]; Vitalle, Maria Sylvia de Souza [UNIFESP]; Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP)In this study, the central debate is to understand the construction of the identity of a male teacher in children education, in this women universe; from the perspective of gender as an analytical category, in the exercise of their profession teaching in municipal nurseries, pre-schools and schools of the city of Guarulhos. When analyzing the context of teaching in the early years of schooling of boys and girls, the number of women are significantly higher than men, and that is no different in the school system in the city of Guarulhos, including nurseries and pre-school, whereas in the early grades of elementary school (first cycle), there is a higher prevalence of teacher man in. The Early Childhood Education, although it has more than a century of history as an extra care and education, only recently has been recognized as the children rights, families, and the duty of the Government and as the first stage of basic education, then we can infer the smaller number of men at this level of education, since its conception be more focused on care - having the body of boys and girls in the center of the debate, than to educate, as if it were possible to separate from each other, since they are inseparable actions. However, when choosing a Primary school as a way of working with children, men were excluded from this rule? To attempt to answer this question, taken as theoretical studies of gender relations, understanding it as a social behavior that affects the construction of identities present in the specific institutional space to be studied: the school. Was sought through the experience of five men teachers to know their careers as teachers in this lifetime. On the analysis of the interviews it was found that the identity of the male teacher is under construction, considering the complexity of the changes in Childhood Education that affect everyone and all the professionals who work with this level of education and therefore the male teachers. Considering gender relations, as social constructions for the sexual differences between men and women, the results show that although there are changes in the subjectivities of male teachers in this study, because of the relationships with children and professional women, where "masculine" and "feminine" intersect, on the other hand, on these same interactions, it is clear that it was not possible to break completely with the hegemonic masculinity that remains and is reflected mainly in binarisms - masculine and feminine - present and entrenched "in themselves" as many of them made explicit during the interviews, and which are reflected in daily practices, since they are cultural and historical.
