    Fabricando leitores no ABC paulista

    This study aims to analyze the intricacies of implementing libraries in factories in the ABC Paulista. Projects Reading in factories and Volkswagen Library created in 2010 through a partnership between employers, unions and government aspired to change the cultural life of the workers and that this change is radiated in social media to which workers belong, if possible, perhaps this process, revolutionize the lives of the workers and their environment. In the course of research, we note that the library represented for the workers a new way of access to books and allowed some workers discover new slopes from reading. However, one should take into account the diverse interests and variables that compete with the proponents of each library, there is also the desires that the library meets other expectations, such as increased profitability of the entrepreneur, the addition of new employees with the union and in particular under the government's perspective, it is a strategy to improve the read rates in the Brazilian population
