    O contrário da opressão: o político subjetivo na obra em vídeo de Letícia Parente (1975 – 1982)

    Video art is part of the process of aesthetic experimentalism in contemporary Brazilian art, a clear reflection of the country's cultural context. The objective of this work is to relate the period of relaxation of the Brazilian Military Dictatorship with the artistic production in video of the artist Letícia Parente between 1975 and 1982. From the study of audiovisual sources, supported by the investigations of the New History, from the Escola dos Annales, it is evidenced the filming that appear the questions of the body, the artist as work of art, as active subject. We take into account the line of research on the History of Women, which is to understand if the theories of gender studies and social feminist theory fit the problems of the work.
