Methods: 16 female sheep (n = 32 UT), Texel, fertile, underwent tubal obstruction with 0.5ml of n-butyl-2-cianoacrylate and randomly assessed to: TT group (n=16 UT) with termino-terminal reanastomosis and SE group (n=16 UT) with salpingotomy, enucleating of the adhesive and side suture. A hysterosalpingography was performed at 180th day after obstruction follow by a laparotomy for reanastomosis TT or SE. Other hysterosalpingography was performed at 240th day. From 240th day until 300th day the sheep were mating with fertile males. We evaluated the bodyweight curve, the fertility rate and radiographic patency of the tubes. On 300th day were collected the UT to study the diameter (cm), the morphometry of the mucosa and miosalpinx (mm), and evaluation of the inflammatory process. Statistical tests, according to the nature of the variables, considered the statistical significance of p <0.05.Results: The analysis of the bodyweight showed no deviation from the normal curve in all animals. Hysterosalpingography was observed in the absence of contrast in the free abdominal cavity in 100% of animals in both groups. At the 240th day was observed persisting obstruction in 37.5% of TT group. The tubal patency was recovery in all the animals of the SE. Pregnancy occurred in 75% of the animals of the SE and 25% of the animals of the TT. Morphometry showed a significant increase of tube diameter (mean 0.73/TT180th; 0.29/TT300th; 0.18/SE300th day). Occurred a significant increase of mucosa thickness in TT group on 180th day (0.307mm) compared to Group SE 300th day (0.223). Miosalpinx showed a significant increase in TT 180th day (0.547) compared to TT 300th day (0.338) and SE 300th day (0.333). Conclusions: the video-hysteroscopy insertion of n-butyl-2-cyanoacrylate was effective in producing tubal obstruction. The salpingotomy, enucleating the adhesive and side suture was more effectiveness than termino-terminal anastomosis and was associated to higher pregnancy rates.
