These workers integrate multidisciplinary teams such as: social workers, nurses, psychologists, educators who operate Social Assistance policy and they are responsible for the planning and offers of services, programs, projects and benefits offered by this policy. Faced with this reality, the importance of investing in training and continuing education programs that can offer training, sharing of knowledge and qualified collective thinking in order to improve the provision of the offered social-welfare services is fundamental. The purpose of this study was objective to potentialize and instrumentalize a team of a coexistence service for children and adolescents in the area of social assistance through experiences, talk circles and training. Method: Participated in this study twelve professionals who are part of the coexistence service team for children and adolescents of São Paulo city. Data on changes in communication, labor satisfaction and communication were collected in two moments for comparison of parameters between before and after, through questionnaires prepared by the researchers. Results: Significantly higher scores were observed in the data evaluated after the experiments, conversational circles and training compared to the data collected before. Through the qualitative analysis it can be seen that the meetings with the professionals provided moments of exchange of information and knowledge, debates about doubts and other issues. Conclusion: In spite of the representative breakthroughs in training of professionals and teams, there is still a big gap in the services management working in concrete actions guided to the implantation of permanent education plans and training for the improvement of the quality of programs, projects and benefits that meets the objectives of the policy of Social Assistance in Brazil.
