    The paper work “Workers Union Football Club: Football workers in Sao Paulo in the first half of the Twentieth Century" plans to hold an investigation into the environment of the football club "Union of Workers", located in the northern region of the city of São Paulo, founded on 1 May 1917. This research has a purpose to relate this leisure space with the experience of the workers of this period, which will be taken in this work as a class and political organization. This research seems important to me since that time football was more a leisure applicant between São Paulo elite, very few clubs encompassed people from the working class. For this study will be used interviews with older members, in this case the children of the founders of the club, based on a bibliography of oral history as well as articles, books that depict the working class in the period and on the theme football.
