    A Arte Ambiental na Educação (Formal ou Não): Reflexões Sobre Experiências Nas Cidades de São Paulo e Itanhaém

    This work addresses the concept of Environmental Art, an artistic movement that started in the 1960s. The perspective of Environmental Art as a method for Environmental Education (EE), the triangular approach (practicing, appreciating and contextualizing) in art and the practice of pedagogical activities such as workshops, experiences and projects are important. In Brazil, it is still little investigated by researchers and little used as a tool to raise awareness in EE. The general objective of the research is to analyze some work experiences with Environmental Art applied in formal education (childhood education and final years of fundamental education) and in non-formal education (Psychosocial Attention Center) and has the specific objective of reflecting on the educational practices. Faced with these institutional and professional experiences, the authors, based on a bibliographical review and on the autoethnography´s methodology, discuss the theme, analyze and reflect on the educational activities. The results indicate that through workshops, experiences, projects and exchanges of knowledge in Environmental Art, participants in educational activities become aware of socio-environmental issues and use the different languages of art as tools for expressing their knowledge being built, promoting participation and health in the community, also contributing to more sustainable spaces with interdisciplinary, community and inclusive possibilities. This research was carried out in the scope of formal education in an Early Childhood Education Center (CEI) and in a State School (EE) in the city of São Paulo. In the context of non-formal education, the research was carried out in a Psychosocial Care Center - Alcohol and Drugs (CAPS-AD) in the city of Itanhaém.

    Aspectos da Educação Ambiental em Relação ao Uso de Smartphones

    The need to establish contact and communicate has led humanity to create innovations and technologies to break down barriers; on this threshold in current times the cell phone (Smartphone) has become one of the technological means of greatest popularity and advancement in a very short period. In this study we will address the evolution of the cell phone since its predecessor, the landline phone, until today and how it affects the environment and society, from its technological aspects and its production. Regarding the socio-environmental scope, we will analyze the impacts caused by its production and its ecological footprint. Finally, which Environmental Education and management solutions exist and can contribute to minimize the environmental impacts, both in the governmental sphere, as well as in the business and in the organized civil society. The methodology of this work was via bibliographical research.

    Sustentabilidade na Prática Escolar: A Construção do Lago Pedagógico em escola estadual de São Paulo, SP

    The “José Monteiro Boanova” State School, located in an area of environmental protection and designed to be a school-park, according to the design by Hélio Dutra and the design by Anísio Teixeira, promotes several sustainability projects, and with the support of an amendment parliament, in 2022, a lake was built at the school. The present work presents the surrounding space of the school, its architecture and the idea of connecting the school to the squares, inviting the community to be part of it and then reporting on how the construction of the lake was and the course of actions linked to it, from the planning until completion. It also presents the process of participation of the various actors of the school community, such as teachers, students and management in an integrated way to the development of the project, by the technicians hired for the work. Finally, it brings reflections and lessons learned from the process, which, although very rich and innovative, brought a range of challenges, which, as far as possible, have been corrected. The lake is a tank that receives water from the roof of the patio, which passes through two types of filtration, to be pumped later and through a fountain falls into the span, there are fish, carp and guppies, which are daily cared for by staff, students and teachers. In addition to an open-air classroom, the lake was a laboratory for sustainable techniques or green technologies for students on the “My Role in Sustainable Development” Training Route, as well as a pleasant environment for contemplation. By reporting this experience, it is hoped that other schools can be inspired and build their own lakes.
