The main focus of the research is investigating the relationship between Education and Health in a in graduate school offered to teachers who will work with Specialized Educational Services for children and young with Intellectual Disabilities. Furthermore, the research provides with specific objectives: (1) Finding meaning units in the curricular structure of a course in graduate school. (2) Interpret the meaning units from the studies on teacher knowledge; (3) Identify arguments that relate education and health and the course of study. The categories that guided the analyzes are related to the knowledge of teaching: Knowledge of Vocational Training, Disciplinary knowledge, Curricular knowledge, Experiential knowledge and Social knowledge. The search to answer this question is sustained by studies with construction in a space with qualitative methodology, for analysis of a course offered by a Municipal Education and taught by teachers of a State University. The course is intended for teachers interested in working in Specialized Educational Services Intellectual Disabilities. The production data was made with predominantly qualitative methodology, method of documentary research, associated with the content analysis. The documents were sought answers to the proposed objectives. The study worked two groups of meanings, the curriculum Lattes of teachers of the course and course menus. The authors have chosen to support the analyzes were mainly from Education area - Nóvoa (1992, 1995); Sacristán (1999, 2002, 2005); Zeichner (1993), in the area of health - Canguilhem, (1995) and, authors shed building learning content Garcia (1999); Mizukami (2002); Shulman (1986, 1997); Tardif (2002). In the study it was observed that the relationship between education and health is by technical rationality, strand opposite to the processes of "learning to be a teacher". Like other research indicated referrals to those conducted with graduate students in the course.
